You can now split your channels into named lists and switch between them.

Until today every channel you added went into one pool, and a random pick came from all of it. That works until your pool contains both twenty-minute cooking videos and three-hour lectures, at which point “random” stops being useful — half the suggestions are the wrong shape for the time you actually have.

A list is just a named group of channels. Create as many as you like, put a channel in whichever ones make sense, and pick which list is active from the selector at the top. Random suggestions only come from the channels in the active list.

Everyone starts with a list called Default, holding the channels already added. If lists are not something you need, that one keeps working exactly as it did before and you can ignore the rest of this.

Marking a video watched or ignored applies everywhere, not just in the list you were using at the time. It is still the same video and you still saw it.
